American Intercultural Student Exchange is a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational foundation whose purpose is to encourage
world peace through student exchange. Over 4000 students and host families participate in the many AISE programs each
year. By opening your home to a student from another country, your family will be enriched in many ways.
Think of your life in everyday terms and consider the things you take for granted. Now imagine looking at your
world through the eager eyes of a student from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, United KIngdom, Monaco,
Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Thailand,
Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Suddenly, everything gains a new prospective. You will acquire renewed appreciation of your life by sharing it
with others. Hosting a student will allow you and your family a first hand look into another culture. You'll make
memories that will last a lifetime, and establish friendships that span the miles between countries.
The 10-month exchange yields the rewards of looking at our world through new eyes, while you create a wonderful reason
to visit your new friend abroad.
