Your Role as an AISE Representative

AISE annually sponsors hundreds of exchange students between the ages of 15 and 18 in programs that involve living with American families, attending local schools and participating in community life.

AISE Area Representatives are the volunteers who supervise the screening and selections of the host families with whom the students will live.  As one of our AISE Area Representatives, you will help match the students to those families, and will continue to work closely with the students, families and schools throughout the year  There is a Regional and/or State Coordinator with whom you can consult at any time to answer your own questions about the program, to provide guidance and assist with any emergencies.

You will be an ambassador of international friendship, the person your students will look up to for guidance when they arrive and throughout the year.  And you will be forging lifelong friendships with young people from many cultures, nations and walks of life!

To find out about becoming an AISE Area Representative, download our Area Representative Application and Agreement.  Print the application and fax/mail to our office and we will contact you shortly.
