1. How do I become a Host Family?
2. When do the students arrive?
Students will arrive in August and return to their native countries in June.
3. How is the program funded?
Students pay for all fees and airfare necessary to participate in the program.
No financial responsiblity is required of host families or schools.
4. What do host families provide?
Families provide room, board, and most importantly, a loving and receptive
family atmosphere. The student will be responsible for his or her own
spending money for clothing, entertainment and souvenirs. A fifty dollar
tax deductioncan be claimed per month for your participation in the program.
5. Are the students insured?
Yes! AISE students are fully covered by health and accident insurance.
6. What kind of young people participate in this program?
Students are screened and chosen for their academic achievement,
maturity, adaptablity, and English skills. They are eager, young people who
are interested in learning as much as they can about the United States.
Many of them are future leaders of their own countries.
